Wow air is a good company enough place for legs, tidied up by 8 seats. The plane is on time.
Arrived at Keflavik airport. Little walks in the airport to go out. We arrive in the space boarding, some shops.
Free shuttle towards the renters: to follow the covered passage, to take the yellow bus, the renters are indicated, approximately 10 minutes walk if we go there on foot.
Go iceland, Campervaniceland and Rent.is seem to be the same company, the office and the similar vehicles, the least expensive on the Internet 1200 € for 7 days included insurances. The staff is welcoming. Bit extra, a coffee machine is at arrangement free of charge.
Van with a bed 140 x 200, two seats in front. Two chargers USB, free WiFi. Downs and pillows. An icebox, a heating for the night on an independent battery which reloads when we run.
Camping equipment for two: a gas range attention not of lights gases, kitchen utensils (flatware, plates, pans, bowls, glasses ...), wash liquid, cloth. New material of kitchen, a little bit old-fashioned chairs and the table.
First stage: race to the store Bonus, some races and already 40€. If you make stage for the campsite of Grindavik, take advantage there to provide you people leave it food (sugar, coffee, oil, salt, cans of food, muesli ...) and gas cylinder.

wow air est une bonne compagnie assez de place pour les jambes, rangée de 8 sièges. L'avion est à l'heure.

Arrivée  à Keflavik aéroport. Un peu marche dans l'aéroport pour sortir. On arrive dans l'espace embarquement, quelques boutiques.

Navette gratuite vers les loueurs : suivre le passage couvert, prendre le bus jaune, les loueurs sont indiqués, environ 10 minutes de marche si on s'y rend à pieds.

Go iceland, Campervaniceland et Rent.is semblent être la même compagnie, bureau et véhicules similaires, le moins chère sur Internet :1200 € pour 7 jours assurances comprises. Le personnel est accueillant. Petit plus, une machine à café est à disposition gratuitement. 

Van avec un lit 140 x 200, deux sièges à l'avant.  Deux chargeurs USB, Wifi gratuit. Duvets et oreillers. Une glaciere, un chauffage pour la nuit sur une batterie indépendante qui se recharge quand on roule.
Matériel de camping pour deux : un réchaud à gaz attention pas d'allume gaz, ustensiles de cuisine (couverts, assiettes, casseroles, bols, verres ...), liquide vaisselle, torchon. Materiel de cuisine neuf, chaises et la table un peu désuètes.

Première étape : course au magasin Bonus, quelques courses et déjà 40€. Si vous faites étape au camping de Grindavik, profitez en pour vous ravitailler les gens y laissent nourriture (sucre, café, huile, sel, conserves, muesli...) et bouteille de gaz.

Le pont entre deux continents où se rejoignent les plaques américaine et européenne.

Noté 10 mn de marche sur les guides en fait c'est 10 mn de route en 4x4. Nous n'avons fait demi-tour après 15mn de marche sous une pluie battante.

Noted 10 mn of walking on guides in fact it is 10 mn of road 4x4. We turned back later 15mn of walking under a pouring rain.

Farm with lava flow, not so impressive as mentioned in guides but we recognize well the however few castings.

Ferme avec coulée de lave, pas si impressionnante que mentionnée dans les guides mais on reconnaît bien les coulées toutefois peu nombreuses.

Deux cascades. La première la plus impressionnante, une petite escalade pas difficile permet de passer derrière. Prévoir vêtements de pluie ainsi que des chaussures étanches pour la dernière cascade, visible d'en bas à travers des rochers après passé un petit guet.

Two waterfalls. The most impressive first one, the small not difficult climbing allows to pass behind. Plan rainwear as well as tight shoes for the last waterfall, visible from below through rocks after past a small watch. 

Cave avec des rochers en forme d'escalier, en bord de mer, vagues impressionnantes. Baignade interdite.

Cellar with rocks in the shape of staircase, by the sea, impressive waves. No swimming.

La route est un peu cabossée au début puis c'est bon sur les 2-3km suivants. A la fin de la route à partir du gué suivre le rocher après 3 mn de marche on découvre une belle grotte.

The road is a little dented at the beginning then it is good on the following 2-3km. At the end of the road from the ford to follow the rock after 3 mn by walking we discover a beautiful cave.

Après 5 minutes de  voiture sur une route cahoteuse, on arrive au pied d'une montagne, un parcours bien délimité permet de découvrir un magnifique canyon avec des points de vue aménagés à flanc de roche.  

After 5 minutes of car on a bumpy road, we arrive at the foot of a mountain, a well bounded route allows to discover a magnificent canyon with points of view fitted out in side of rock.
